According to security firm Sophos, the attack claims to be a customer survey. The message links users to a phony survey site which asks a number of questions about the fast food chain. The site then promises to send the user a $90 payment in exchange for filling out the survey.
In order to receive the money, however, users are asked to hand over account information. Data such as credit card numbers and security code are requested in order the "process" the payment. Though the company is warning users not to respond the survey messages, researchers are warning that the unconventional nature and target of the attack could lead some users to fall for the social engineering scheme
